About the Project: Managing a major planned works contract covering approximately 20,000 properties across 19 boroughs in North London and surrounding areas. The project is currently in its 7th year of a 20-year term and involves multiple packages including lifts, heating, ventilation, door entry systems, and more. The project team includes 2 site managers and 1 Liaison Officer (RLO), with operations coordinated from a central office in East/North London

Role Overview: Seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to lead the delivery of technically complex M&E planned works across the social housing portfolio. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

\n \n Lead M&E project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
\n
\n Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
\n
\n Liaise effectively with clients, residents, and internal stakeholders to foster strong working relationships.
\n
\n Monitor project progress, budgets, and health & safety performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
\n
\n Ensure all works meet high standards and client expectations, complying with CDM regulations and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

\n \n Proven experience managing M&E projects, ideally within social housing or property services environments.
\n
\n Strong technical knowledge of building services, compliance requirements, and CDM regulations.
\n
\n Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and effective stakeholder management.
\n
\n Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid are .
