Project Manager – Contract (Financial Services) London (3 days onsite) (£450 per day – Inside IR35) 3 month initial contract We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading financial services client on a contract basis. This role requires a hands-on delivery-focused professional who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and operating within a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Produce and maintain a detailed project plan in MS Project , alongside an executive-level “Plan on a Page” Clearly identify, define, and document project scope Create and maintain project governance documentation, including: Terms of Reference Project Initiation Document (PID) Lead stakeholder management , identifying key stakeholders and roles, and ensuring effective ongoing communication Establish and manage meeting governance, including: Working group and senior stakeholder forums Preparation and delivery of presentations, papers, and updates in advance of meetings Drive delivery of the project plan through to completion, ensuring milestones and outcomes are achieved Proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) Manage handover and project closure, ensuring all deliverables are completed and signed off Skills & Experience Required Proven experience delivering projects within financial services Strong governance , planning, and stakeholder management skills Advanced MS Project experience Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and exec-level reporting Structured, proactive, and delivery-focused approach
