We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Engineering Project Management team, supporting the delivery of technically complex software and hardware development projects.

We are a London-based technology company specialising in the research, development and delivery of high-quality hardware and software products. Our work supports technically complex systems used in large-scale professional environments, where reliability, performance and precision are critical.

Operating across a mix of client-led engineering projects and internally developed products, our teams collaborate across software development, electronics, manufacturing and quality assurance. Our products and solutions are deployed internationally and used in high-profile, technically demanding applications.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager who enjoys structure, coordination and problem-solving, and who wants to develop their career within a technically sophisticated environment.

You will work under the guidance of experienced Senior Project Managers, supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects that may involve software, hardware or both. You will typically be assigned a primary project, while also assisting with smaller initiatives and new work as required.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Supporting Senior Project Managers through daily use of project management tools, including ticketing systems, Gantt charts and internal templates

* Administering and maintaining project tickets to ensure accurate prioritisation, categorisation and process compliance

* Taking ownership of defined sub-projects or deliverables and reporting progress, risks and issues clearly

* Ensuring engineers’ time logging is accurate and up to date

* Assisting with the preparation and running of internal team meetings and selected client meetings, providing cover during absence where required

* Coordinating with clients or appointed representatives to support effective delivery

* Contributing to the production of project documentation, product requirements and roadmap materials

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Experience leading or coordinating teams in fast-paced environments to meet deadlines

* Confident, professional communication skills with the ability to engage colleagues and clients at all levels

* A proactive, organised and methodical approach to managing tasks and priorities

* The judgement to work independently within an agreed remit while escalating appropriately when needed

* An understanding of product lifecycles and software development lifecycles

* Experience tracking actuals against budgets and summarising variances in cost and labour

* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Desirable:

* An entry-level project management qualification (e.g. APM PFQ, PMI CAPM)

* Experience using ticketing or issue-tracking systems such as Jira or YouTrack

* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
