This GC has been around for a while—privately owned, steady growth, no private equity strings. They build a range of mid to large-scale commercial projects: life sciences, multifamily, higher ed, some healthcare. Their sweet spot is $20–$80M projects, and they run a lean but well-resourced operation. Think big enough to land meaningful work, small enough that people still matter.

They’ve brought me in to help them find someone sharp to join the team as a Project Manager. Not because someone left, but because they’re growing and the leadership team doesn’t want to overload their current PMs. Sensible, right?

What you’d be walking into:

• A stable team with a low drama, high accountability culture
• Support from strong APMs, Supers, and precon staff who know what they’re doing
• A company that finishes projects the right way—without burning everyone out
• Leadership that’s actually available (and listens)
• The opportunity to manage $20M+ projects from precon through punch list

You’ll need:

• A few years of PM experience already under your belt (ideally in GC or CM work)
• Comfort owning the schedule, budget, and client comms on complex projects
• A solid grasp of Procore, P6, and a healthy respect for how things get built in the field
• A sense of urgency without the chaos
• The ability to lead a team, not just push paper
