Project Manager - Engineering (Complex Infrastructure / Energy Sector)We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where safety, quality, and performance are at the forefront.You will play a key role in managing the full project lifecycle, working collaboratively with integrated teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects from concept through to completion, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioningDevelop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teamsEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsOversee project planning, cost control, risk management, and scheduling activitiesPrepare and present business cases, funding papers, and project reportsManage integrated project teams including internal staff, contractors, and specialist support functionsDrive performance through a results-focused yet team-oriented approachEnsure quality standards are achieved and maintained throughout the project lifecycleAbout YouStrong communication and organisational skills with the ability to build effective networksResults-driven, with a collaborative and team-centred mindsetAnalytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilitiesQualifications & ExperienceDegree qualified, ideally in Engineering or a related disciplineChartered status (or working towards) is desirableAPMP qualification (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of modern project management methodologiesProven experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle in complex, multi-functional organisationsStrong knowledge of:Engineering, design, procurement, and commissioning processesCommercial contracting and project financial driversEstimating, cost control, and planningRisk management and Earned Value Management techniquesUnderstanding of Safety Cases and their development and implementationFamiliarity with relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, including CDM regulationsExperience in preparing reports using tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointProficiency in project controls tools (estimating, scheduling, and risk systems)Desirable ExperienceExperience working on power stations or nuclear licensed sitesJBRP1_UKTJ
