Project Manager - 12 month FTC

New Today

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager (Delivery Manager) for our Security & Resilience Integration team within Change Delivery & Performance (CD&P).

This role has three main areas of focus: resourcing for delivery, enabling delivery, and delivering initiatives.

A Delivery Manager is responsible for managing small to medium change initiatives throughout their lifecycle—from inception to completion—including scoping, planning, managing, estimating, and delivering change initiatives.

Nationwide Technology is part of the Resilience & Agility Community, bringing together an integrated technology team to design and build technology services that support society. Under the leadership of the CIO and SLT, Nationwide Technology provides change and operational services to enhance value for our customers and members.

CD&P operates within Nationwide Technology under the Chief Performance Officer, who is part of the SLT.

The role is within Security Transformation, working on the Cyber Security portfolio to protect members’ money and data. The goal is to deliver enterprise security capabilities that safeguard Nationwide, members, and colleagues, while enabling safe and secure operations.

This role is suited for someone interested or experienced in Cyber Security or a delivery manager who has supported networks, systems, and platforms through change and enhancement to maximize security controls frameworks.

We seek an experienced change professional with a proven track record of delivering complex change, including technology and business practice changes to realize benefits.

We support flexible working arrangements to help you perform at your best.

Our hybrid working model involves at least two days per week at our London or Swindon offices, or 40% of working time if part-time. Further details will be provided by your hiring manager. More about our hybrid approach can be found here.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

High application volumes may lead to early closure of the advert, so we encourage prompt applications.

What you’ll be doing

Proactively identifying and escalating risks or blockers, resolving them effectively, and seeking continuous improvement opportunities will be key. You will also support post-implementation reviews for development.

Leading diverse teams within Delivery Management, ensuring resource allocation aligns with needs, and fostering a collaborative, accountable team culture will be part of your role.
