Project Engineer

Think Recruitment are currently working with a specialist engineering company who, due to a large increase in their forward workload, are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering their schemes.
As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing project documentation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to NEC4 standards, and working collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
This role is ideal for someone with project management capabilities, technical understanding of civil or structural engineering principles, and the ability to work effectively under pressure within an integrated team, with the ideal candidate having;
Some previous experience in a similar role A degree (BEng/MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering Experience of planning and monitoring progress of design tasks Able to produce and update MS Project programmes Can facilitate internal and external design review meetings Has knowledge of NEC4 contract standards Can prepare project status reports and support regular client communications Monitor project financial performance, budgets, and compensation events Provide engineering and construction support where required Review design risk assessments and support safety focused project delivery Ensure all activities comply with quality, health & safety, environmental, and legal obligation...
