You will ideally be based in Hull, Brigg, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, York or surrounding areas
The majority of the work is in North East/North/East of England - travel required
£40,000 - £55,000 + Company Van + Discretionary Bonus + Training + Benefits

This well-established company are building a reputable name within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design, construction and operations of commercial and industrial solar PV, EV and battery storage projects across the UK. With ambitious plans to scale up and expand into larger, more exciting ventures, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their passionate team to fuel future success.
In this role, the Project Engineer / Manager will be responsible for ensuring an efficient and successful delivery of C&I renewable projects. This will include installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, with involvement in pre-start processes, CDM plans, delivery and management on site, commissioning, reporting on progress and being the point of contact for clients throughout.
This role would suit candidates with proven experience managing commercial and industrial projects, ideally with an electrical bias. You should hold SSSTS or SMSTS, ideally relevant electrical qualifications and a full UK driving license. Previous experience working on Solar, EV or Battery Storage systems is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.

The Role:
Drive the delivery of commercial and industrial scale Solar PV, EV and Battery systems from enquiry through to completion
Manage H&S on site ensuring regulations are adhered to
Organise workforce, materials and equipment on site
Act as the go-to contact throughout projects, maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and the installation team
Carry out installation and maintenance when required
Majority of work is in the North East / North and East of England and North - some will be further afield
The Person:
Project Engineer / Manager, ideally with an electrical bias
Proven experience working within commercial and / or industrial environments
SSSTS / SMSTS or project management qualification
Experience working within the solar PV sector is highly advantageous
Electrical qualifications are desirable but not essential
Flexible to travel across the UK
