Job Description

Suitable for: Mechanical Project Engineer, Building Services Engineer, M&E Project Engineer, Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Project Engineer, HVAC Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer \n\nA specialist engineering business delivering bespoke mechanical and HVAC systems into offshore, energy and industrial sectors is looking to appoint a Project Engineer.\n\nThis role supports continued growth and sits at the centre of project delivery, working across design, manufacturing and technical coordination.\n\nYou will take ownership of engineering projects from concept through to delivery, with a strong focus on technical coordination.\n\nWorking closely with in-house design, manufacturing, procurement and quality teams, you will manage the engineering aspects of projects - including design review, documentation, and system integration. You will oversee Bills of Materials, verify components and materials, and ensure designs are aligned with manufacturing and project requirements.\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience in a Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer role\nBackground in manufacturing, engineered-to-order equipment, or industrial/mechanical systems\nAbility to read and review engineering drawings (AutoCAD or similar)\nExperience working with BOMs, technical documentation and design packages\nExposure to project delivery or coordination within an engineering environment\nStrong organisational and communication skills\nUnderstanding of HVAC, building services or similar systems is beneficial but not essential\nExperience within regulated or industrial sectors (e.g. energy, process, manufacturing) is advantageous\n\nPackage\n\nSalary: £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience\nCompany pension\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nOffice-based in Hull\nOpportunity to work within a specialist engineering manufacturer delivering bespoke systems \n\nInterested in hearing more?
