Project Engineer | Capital Equipment | Chipping Norton | £40,000pa - £50,000pa plus bonus:

MARS have registered an exceptional opportunity for a Project Engineer who is passionate about delivering industrial based projects into a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Project Engineer will be working across departments, solving complex engineering challenges, and delivering real operational improvements.

On a day-to-day basis you will manage the full lifecycle of industrial capital equipment and manufacturing projects, covering injection moulding, robotics, automation and more, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer who enjoys hands-on project delivery, working closely with engineering teams, operations, and external contractors to make things happen. Our client is happy looking at an experienced Project Engineer or someone with 1-2 years experience and is looking for more scope and projects to work on.

Key responsibilities of the Project Engineer:

Managing industrial and manufacturing projects from start to finish Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained across all project work Controlling project costs, budgets, and timelines Identifying and mitigating project risks Coordinating with internal departments including engineering, production, and operations Managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers Driving process improvements and efficient project delivery

Key experience of a Project Engineer:

An engineering qualification, either apprentice trained, HNC/HND or degree level Experience working as a Project Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with examples of capital equipment projects delivered Strong understanding of project management, ideally a project certification like Prince2 or APM Knowledge of health & safety practices in industrial settings Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and contractors Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Our client is offering an excellent salary of £40k to £50k with the following bonus benefit:

Bonus Company Bonus scheme (0.25% of company net profit) (after successful completion of probation).
