The Role

As a Project Controls Manager, you will support and lead project controls efforts. You will work closely with Project and Programme Managers, lead a team of project controls professionals, and develop strong relationships with stakeholders including project teams, functional teams, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, you will support the ongoing development of the Project Controls capability.

• Develop, maintain, and own the performance measurement baseline.
• Provide regular management reports to internal and external stakeholders, offering accurate project status updates to inform decision-making.
• Gather independent evidence to confirm the project is likely to meet success criteria.
• Integrate and align project control toolsets across contracts and suppliers.
• Establish and maintain a reliable Earned Value Management (EVM) system, generating reports to support project decisions.
• Implement ongoing risk management processes and risk reporting, including schedule risk analysis.

This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements.

Essential Experience

• Experience in project controls on complex or major projects or programmes.
• Knowledge of project controls practices such as planning, scheduling, cost management, risk management, and change management.
• Experience applying and assuring project controls governance measures.
• Proficiency with project controls tools like MSP, P6, RiskHive, ERP/SAP systems.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including external suppliers and customers.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
