The post will initially be based in the School of Health & Society and transition to the new School of Social Science, Business and Law.

Successful candidates have the opportunity to join the Centre for Research on Inclusive Society (CRIS), a multidisciplinary research centre dedicated to advancing knowledge on inclusive policies and practices. It brings together researchers working on issues of social inclusion and exclusion across areas including justice, welfare, housing, education, and health. The Centre fosters collaborative, interdisciplinary research informed by real-world issues and grounded in strong partnerships with local authorities, housing providers, third sector organisations, and government bodies. The Centres aim is to produce rigorous, evidence-based research that informs policy and practice and contributes to building a more inclusive, equitable society.

As Professor of Criminology and/or Criminal Justice, you will play a key role, enhancing the Centres research leadership, supporting a culture of innovation and impact, and developing partnerships that extend the reach and relevance of our work.
