Production Supervisor

Futures Recruitment are looking to appoint a Production Supervisor for a leading manufacturing business. The successful Production Supervisor will lead and optimise the daily operations of the production team. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a small team of operatives and team leaders while coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet production goals and support lean initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all products meet quality standards through inspections, audits, and corrective actions as needed. Develop and implement a leadership and development programme with the Production Manager and HR to enhance team and individual performance. Lead, train, and mentor team members to promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain succession plans to ensure long-term business sustainability. Allocate work orders and monitor progress to ensure timely task completion and adherence to production deadlines. Identify process inefficiencies and implement lean-based strategies to improve productivity and reduce waste. Promote and enforce a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate production records, including quality control logs, attendance, and operational reports.
