The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients that are part of a global network specialising in the production, and distribution of industrial batteries and energy storage solutions. Location:

ST5 (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent) Job Type:

Temp ongoing, with the possibility to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate. Pay rate:

£13.20 per hour. Hours:

Monday to Thursday (08:00 to 16:30) Friday (08:00 to 15:00)

39 hours a week standard, with the possibility of overtime through the week and on the weekend paid at T1/2. The role: Overhauling / reconditioning of railway battery systems. Assist in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and minor repair work on products. Assembly, wiring and connections of electrical equipment and railway battery systems. Picking orders to be sent out Using reach truck as and when required to replenish stock Working within a team to achieve required orders. Carry out training/upskilling on relevant procedures and areas. Using a variety of different tools. Occasionally using the company van to drive to sites and deliver parts needed for engineers Comply with relevant UK standards and adhere to quality requirements. Keep a safe, clean, and efficient working environment. Requirements: Must have an accredited reach truck license, dated within the last 3 years Must have a valid UK driving license
