Manpower are currently recruiting for a Processing Operative to join a busy recycling facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.

Location Site location requires own or reliable transport Shift Pattern Monday - Friday (6am-2pm/ 3pm-11pm on rotation) 8-hour shifts Shift-based work, which may include weekends Pay Rate £13.04ph Key Responsibilities Operating machinery to process lead/ acid safely and efficiently Carrying out manual handling and lifting of heavy materials Following all start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment Ensuring correct use of PPE at all times Assisting with loading/unloading materials where required Completing all necessary paperwork and records accurately

What We're Looking For Experience Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or industrial environment Skills Strong awareness of health & safety practices Ability to work in a physically demanding role Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new machinery and processes Willingness to work with hazardous and corrosive materials Happy working in a high-temperature environment Mandatory use of specialist PPE, including protective suits and respiratory equipment
