Production Operative Vibration Assembly (Aerospace Components)Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy client, based in Reading.Rota: Monday to Friday, 08:30 -16:30 ShiftWe are looking for Production Operatives to support the build and assembly of aerospace anti-vibration mounts, using standard factory machinery and tooling. This role requires mechanical aptitude, consistency, and adherence to strict quality and process controls.Key Responsibilities for a successful Production OperativeAssemble anti-vibration mounts and sub-components in line with work instructions and engineering drawingsOperate standard factory equipment (e.g. presses, fixtures, torque tools) safely and correctlyEnsure correct component selection, orientation, and fit during assemblyCarry out in-process inspection checks to verify quality and conformityMaintain full traceability of components and batchesIdentify and report any defects, issues, or non-conformancesFollow standard operating procedures and AS9100 quality requirementsComplete production documentation accuratelyEssential RequirementsPrevious experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturingBasic understanding of engineering drawings or assembly instructionsGood hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitudeAbility to work with tools, fixtures, and machinery safelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable and able to work consistently to production targetsDesirable ExperienceExperience in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering environmentsFamiliarity with press work, bonded components, or rubber-metal assembliesKnowledge of torque settings, fit tolerances, or assembly sequencingExposure to AS9100 or regulated manufacturing environmentsWorking EnvironmentManufacturing/production settingUse of machinery and tooling (training provided where required)PPE required at all timesIf you are interested in this Production Operative role, please apply with your CV now!JBRP1_UKTJ
