A full-time, permanent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a specialist industrial manufacturing facility. This role focuses on the production of heavy steel fabrications. The position involves managing teams, processes, and compliance to the highest standards.

Who this job would suit
This role would suit a hands-on production leader with a background in metal fabrication, welding, or mechanical assembly. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, shop-floor environment and passionate about developing teams, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality in line with industry standards and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all aspects of industrial production, ensuring safety, quality, and timely output.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with design and engineering teams.
Implement and monitor production schedules, coordinating with procurement and inventory teams.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles.
Ensure full compliance with EN1090, ISO 9001, and relevant safety codes and standards.Requirements

Proven experience as a Production Manager, Fabrication Manager or similar
Experience within Manufacturing with knowledge of Welding processes
Knowledge of ISO 9001. ISO 3834 & EN 1090 desirable
Strong leadership skillsLocation: Thornton-Cleveleys
Contract: Permanent
Salary: circa £50k (dependent on experience)
