Job Title: Senior Lead Solutions Architect
Location: Europe/UK (Remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a Head of IT Business Solutions to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital architecture and driving enterprise-wide innovation. This is a strategic role, responsible for designing scalable, secure, and automated IT ecosystems that directly support our company’s business goals.
You will lead product governance, oversee enterprise technology planning, and make critical decisions on proprietary tool development, technology consolidation, and third-party integration. You will act as a key advisor to leadership while also engaging directly with engineering teams to ensure consistent execution, standardization, and long-term sustainability of solutions.
You will also bring product ownership capabilities to the table — working closely with business units to define vision, prioritize features, and drive value delivery through architectural excellence.
This role offers the opportunity to impact global transformation efforts, especially across retail, airlines, and logistics, while operating in a flexible, multicultural, and forward-thinking environment.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation package based on experience and seniority
- Flex Week: Work from home and structure your week for work-life balance
- Flex Location: Work remotely from anywhere in the world
- Learning & development budgets, certifications, and career growth plans
- International, multicultural work environment
- Health insurance and mobility programs
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of proprietary tools tailored to our strategic needs.
- Govern technical solutions across development, infrastructure, and operations, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct post-implementation evaluations to assess ROI, performance, and continuous improvement areas.
- Translate business needs into robust, automated, and scalable architectures using cloud-native and modern engineering principles.
- Champion professionalization and standardization across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Drive DevOps maturity, performance, and monitoring strategies.
- Drive technology consolidation and platform harmonization by merging redundant or siloed systems.
- Own and manage build vs. buy decisions, balancing in-house development, outsourcing, and third-party integrations.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including cloud automation, containerization, and advanced data platforms.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery of IT projects.
- Ensure all solutions meet security, data privacy (GDPR), and internal compliance requirements.
- Lead, mentor and coach cross-functional technical teams.
- Act as a strategic product owner— defining product visions, managing backlogs, setting priorities, and ensuring business value delivery.
- Translate complex business needs into a clear architectural product roadmap and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional discussions between stakeholders, developers, and designers to validate feasibility and delivery scope.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, DevOps, data science, IT and/or other relevant engineering domains.
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Business tools: Power BI
- Experience with third-party system integration, platform consolidation, and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including GDPR and IT security standards.
- Experience resolving technical challenges, including 3rd-party vendor management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills— able to engage across business and technical audiences, including C- level stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
