Product Manager (AI Reception)
New Yesterday
Our mission is to help dental and veterinary clinics make recurring payments as simple as paying by card. We want to make memberships (Plans) and patient finance seamless by ‘combining' workflows with cards and tapping existing patient data.
There are two exciting trends affecting the primary care sector right now.
- We believe all businesses are becoming internet businesses. Many clinics now actively ‘push' online bookings and explore the benefits to handle phone calls with AI agents 24/7
- We believe all revenue is moving towards monthly payments. People pay for more and more ‘stuff' with a subscription, from cars to music. Dentists and vets are well positioned to benefit due to the strong, recurring relationships with patients
Tabeo is profitable. We seek to grow revenue by 50-60% per year and top £30 million per year in 2028.
We believe in a remote first approach to work and equip teams with perks and tools so they can thrive. However, we all come together 2x per year for our amazing ‘Team Weeks'. We previously met in Dubai, Lisbon, London and Athens. Next is a surprise!
About the role:
We're looking for an ambitious Product Manager to join our team and take on a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Tabeo's new AI Reception product. This product will interface directly with patients and practices using voice and chat-based AI, helping practices triage, route, and automate key patient interactions such as bookings, finance queries, and follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day execution of the AI Reception MVP in collaboration with an external dev team and senior product leadership
- Translate user needs into actionable specs, with particular sensitivity to the voice interaction layer, security/privacy constraints, and the unique workflows in dental and vet practices
- Work closely with our internal stakeholders (customer service, sales, and engineering) to test the product in live environments before wider rollout
- Define clear success metrics around adoption, accuracy, and user sentiment for both patients and reception teams
- Coordinate vendor contributions and oversee delivery across multiple streams, including interface design, transcription & summarisation workflows, and integrations into Tabeo's ecosystem
- You have experience as a Product Manager within a start-up/scale-up, particularly if you have experience working with Conversational AI / Voice Technology or chatbots in a B2B environment
- Demonstrated empathy for end-user experience and ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments
- Familiarity with conversational interfaces (voice or chat), or consumer software with high-volume user interaction
- Can structure, plan, and prioritise under ambiguity. You will help shape the roadmap - not just execute it
- A natural collaborator able to interface with external vendors and internal leaders, particularly in customer-facing functions
- You have experience working directly with C-level stakeholders and are confident communicating updates across the business through a variety of channels
- Experience working with voice-based systems, asynchronous messaging, or customer service tooling
- Knowledge of dental or veterinary workflows and frontline practice operations
