Role: Procurement Manager

Location: London

Duration: 3-month contract

Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)



ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Procurement Manager on an initial 3-month basis.


Working with the Head of Procurement to support in the running of the procurement function. This includes advising the business, developing processes and procurement strategies as well as leading procurement projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting in procurement operations for complex and leading non-complex projects
  • To work with the Head of Procurement on LS185?s procurement activity
  • To supervise and assist Project Managers with the drafting of procurement documentation
  • Assisting in the implementation of London Stadium procurement processes and to ensure all procurement operations undertaken are in accordance with EU and UK legislation
  • To develop and implement procurement strategies identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • positively promote procurement processes and procedures
  • Maintain procurement databases/systems and provide support to the business in the management of contracts and record keeping.
  • Support and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Adhere to company policy and procedures while taking responsibility for your own health and safety and for that of others who could be affected by your work.



Requirements:


  • Understand of public relations - Procurement Act 2023. Previous contracts were procured under the regulations 2015.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
  • Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes
  • Confident, proactive, and adaptable
  • Able to manage multiple procurement categories
  • Comfortable working without direct supervision
  • Experience with NEC contracts
  • Familiarity with CCS frameworks
  • Background in FM, IT, or capital projects
  • CIPS qualification is beneficial but not mandatory
