Job Description
This is a superb opportunity for a Procurement professional to join an iconic London estate, responsible for a diverse and culturally enriched portfolio spanning first class office space, exciting retail & leisure businesses, world class healthcare providers, residential communities, and cutting edge educational institutions.
As Procurement Lead, you will be operating at both strategic and operational level, with the responsibility for setting and leading the procurement agenda across the organisation. It is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to embed processes and principles to enhance the way of working and drive the business towards the set strategic objectives.
Core responsibilities include:
- Supplier relationship management
- Lead high-value tenders and supplier engagements with a focus on delivering a net-zero carbon future.
- Continuously improve best-practice processes and procedures.
- Develop SLAs, KPIs and policy compliance.
- Monitor internal and external compliance to Procurement Policies.
- Develop and manage formalised supplier on boarding processes.
- Investigate opportunities for partnering with key service providers.
- Develop and agree pricing frameworks with suppliers.
- Leadership, development and mentoring of one procurement professional.
You will need:
- CIPS qualified, working towards a CIPS qualification, or similar procurement qualification.
- Understanding of basic contracting principles of English Law.
- Experience working in the property sector, either directly or within a business that manages a property portfolio as part of its broader operations (i.e. not its primary focus) is essential.
- Motivated by hitting targets and able to deliver to these, with an ability to think creatively and independently and to take initiative to solve problems.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Highly collaborative approach to working with colleagues, peers, and external clients and suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in scoping requirements in relation to supplier KPIs and SLAs to be included in contracts and agreements.
- Management experience, with a proven track-record of developing staff.
- Competence in the use of systems to prepare and manage contracts, maintain supplier records and data, and develop reporting is essential.
- Experience of managing and analysing data, including the competent use of tools such as Power BI would be beneficial.
- Strong IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Experience of the following systems is desirable Microsoft Power Platform,M-Files document management system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
