Key Responsibilities: Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Trusts, LPAs, Probate, Estate Administration, Tax and Succession Planning Drafting Wills, Trust documents, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and other legal documentation Advising clients on inheritance tax, estate planning, and asset protection Handling the full probate process, including obtaining grants of representation and administering estates Preparing and registering LPAs with the Office of the Public Guardian Providing clear, empathetic, and professional legal advice to individuals and families Managing client relationships and maintaining a high standard of client care Liaising with third parties such as financial advisers, accountants, and HMRC Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures Contributing to business development activities and the continued growth of the department The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 25 years PQE working in a UK private client department Strong knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and Tax Planning Excellent client care and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload independently with appropriate supervision A proactive and professional approach Whats on Offer: Competitive salary up to £60,000 with flexibility for the right candidate Hybrid working available Opportunity to work within a respected, long-established firm Supportive team environment with career progression opportunities High-quality caseload and excellent local reputation If you are a dedicated Private Client Solicitor seeking a new challenge with a reputable firm, we would love to hear from you.
