Job Title: Private Client Solicitor NQ + Location: Tameside, Manchester Job Type: Full-time, Office-Based Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience About the Firm We are a well-established, friendly high street law firm with a strong reputation for providing practical and compassionate legal advice to our local community. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Newly Qualified (NQ) Private Client Solicitor to join our team. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ Solicitor looking to build a career in private client work. You will work closely on a one-to-one basis with an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor, gaining valuable hands‑on experience across a range of private client matters. Your responsibilities will include assisting with and gradually managing your own caseload involving:
Drafting Wills and related testamentary documents Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Assisting with Court of Protection (COP) matters Supporting the Senior Solicitor with general private client work and client meetings Maintaining client files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
About You The successful candidate will:
Be a Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly) Knowledge of Private Client matters Demonstrate strong drafting skills and attention to detail Possess excellent client care and communication skills Be organised, proactive and eager to develop within a supportive environment Be comfortable working full-time from the office
