\n• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ PQE in private client work, with solid technical expertise in wills, trusts, and probate matters. STEP qualification, or progress towards it, would be highly advantageous.

\n• You will manage your own caseload, handling a broad range of private client matters from straightforward to more complex cases. This will include taking client instructions and drafting wills, as well as preparing Lasting and General Powers of Attorney.
\n
\n• You will also oversee probate and estate administration for high-net-worth clients, including taxable estates, and identifying and claiming relevant inheritance tax reliefs. In addition, you will administer intestate estates.
\n
\n• You will also manage trust administration, with a sound understanding of the tax implications on creation and throughout the trust’s lifetime. This includes experience in setting up and administering Life Interest and Discretionary Trusts arising under a will, as well as understanding how to wind up discretionary trusts.

\n• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering excellent client service, alongside a proactive approach to networking and business development.
