We’re working with several secure establishments across Greater Manchester that urgently require experienced HCAs to support their primary care and mental health teams on an ongoing basis.

About the Role:

As a Prison-Cleared HCA, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the wellbeing of inmates, working alongside nurses, mental health professionals, and wider prison staff. Duties will vary but may include:

Assisting with health checks, wound care, and medication rounds (if trained)

Supporting patients with physical or mental health needs

*

Accurate record-keeping and reporting concerns

*

Contributing to a safe and respectful care environment

You’ll Need To Have:

*

Current prison clearance (CTC, Enhanced Vetting or similar) – essential

*

A minimum of 6 months’ experience working as an HCA in the UK

*

Ability to adapt quickly and work well under pressure

*

PMVA/MAPA training is a bonus – training can be provided if needed
