Principal Substation Primary Design Engineer & Team Lead

What you will need

• British legal right to work in the UK

• Primary substation design experience

• Consultancy or client-facing project exposure

• Proven team leadership experience

What you will be doing

• Lead FEED and detailed design of HV substation projects

• Manage and mentor a technical engineering team

• Coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers to deliver seamless project outcomes

• Review and assure design quality across multiple workstreams

Skills and background

• Chartered Engineer or working towards

• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC/IEEE)

• Bid and cost estimate preparation experience

• Strong stakeholder communication and management skills
