Principal Mechanical Engineer - Waste & Generation (Energy) | Expression of Interest

New Today

Expression of Interest - Future Opportunities (please expect longer timescales).

The Energy Transition is the fundamental shift underway in how we, as a global community, produce, distribute, and consume energy, with the overarching goal of transitioning to a lower carbon future.

Will you be part of the solution? If you are passionate about making a difference in the sector, then join Stantec's industry leading Energy team in driving the change!

As a result of recent successes and the development of new projects and clients, Stantec is looking to speak with Principal Mechanical Engineers for future opportunities in our Energy & Resources team. These roles can be based in any of our UK offices, preferably reachable from the Midlands or Newcastle.

Working as part of our Waste and Generation Team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen generation schemes, and biogas production projects.

This role involves participation in the entire project life cycle, from optioneering to detailed design and installation, including feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations. You will collaborate with clients, partners, and team members to develop designs and solutions across a wide range of projects within Stantec's Energy and Resources sector.

As designers in the construction, energy, and waste sectors, we take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously, fostering a culture of open scrutiny and continuous improvement.
