Principal Electrical Design Engineer

What you will be doing

Lead design and development of electrical panels, enclosures and cabinet layouts Produce and maintain schematics, technical documentation and Bills of Materials Resolve electrical issues across design, manufacture, integration and qualification stages Apply electrical standards and ensure compliance with Defence Standards Your experience

Experience in electrical design engineering role, with some line management experience, supporting a team. Experience of PLCs e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, an understanding of the PLC hardware, analogue loops, digital inputs and outputs. Knowledge of maritime or defence platforms desirable, although other safety-critical sectors will be considered (e.g. Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Airports).
