Principal Agile Transformation Consultant

A leading global consultancy and recognised authority in organisational agility is expanding its Agile Transformation practice. This role is aimed at senior transformation specialists who operate at enterprise and executive level, shaping how complex organisations fundamentally change how they deliver value, particularly within the Financial Services sector.

This is not a delivery or Agile coaching role. The focus is on strategy, operating model design, portfolio governance, and large-scale transformation.

Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will lead high-impact Agile and business transformations across Financial Services, working closely with executive teams to design, embed, and evolve enterprise-wide agile operating models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape enterprise-scale Agile strategy and transformation programmes
  • Advise C‑suite and senior leadership on organisational agility, value delivery, and operating model evolution
  • Design Agile Target Operating Models that connect strategy to portfolios, products, and teams
  • Lead Lean Portfolio Management design, including funding models, OKRs, portfolio Kanban, and prioritisation
  • Guide clients through complex organisational, cultural, and behavioural change at scale
  • Lead consulting engagements and mentor consultants within blended client teams

Experience & Background

  • Strong consulting background with senior-level Agile strategy and transformation experience
  • Deep Financial Services knowledge (banking, insurance, payments, asset or wealth management)
  • Credibility operating at executive level across business and enabling functions (HR, Finance, Risk)
  • Experience designing operating models, governance, and value management frameworks

Frameworks & Certifications

  • Deep applied experience with Agile at scale
  • Strong SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management expertise
  • SPCT highly desirable
