Primary Teaching Assistant - Intervention & Academic Support Focus**

Aspire People are seeking a dedicated **Primary Teaching Assistant** with a strong academic focus to support pupils through structured interventions and targeted learning support.

This role is particularly suited to candidates who are confident supporting core subjects and helping pupils close learning gaps.

**The Role:**
* Delivering planned intervention sessions in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
* Supporting small groups to reinforce key learning objectives
* Providing additional 1:1 support for pupils who need extra guidance
* Working closely with the class teacher to track and support progress
* Encouraging pupil confidence, engagement, and independence
* Supporting classroom behaviour and learning routines

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment expectations
* Experience supporting phonics and early reading (desirable)
* Confident delivering small group interventions
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
