Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

*

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

*

Assess, monitor and track pupil progress and attainment

*

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including those with SEND

*

Manage pupil behaviour effectively and consistently

*

Communicate effectively with parents, carers and colleagues

*

Contribute to the wider school community and school improvement

*

Maintain accurate records and pupil assessment data

Requirements

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Experience teaching across KS1 and/or KS2

*

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum

*

Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills

*

A passion for delivering outstanding primary education

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

*

Right to work in the UK

Desirable

*

Experience across multiple year groups within KS1 and KS2

*

Knowledge of phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds

*

Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional learning needs

*

Familiarity with assessment and tracking systems
