Primary Teacher

Horizon Teachers are working with a primary school in Bexley, assisting in their search for a Class Teacher to join on a long-term basis, either immediately or from September.

This is a full-time opportunity within a school that places a strong emphasis on staff support, pupil wellbeing, and high-quality teaching.

This is a school where teachers are trusted to teach. Behaviour is well managed, routines are consistent, and leadership is visible and supportive. Planning is purposeful, workload is considered, and staff are given the space to focus on delivering strong learning outcomes rather than unnecessary administrative demands.

The role:
Full class responsibility within a primary year group
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Creating a calm, focused and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring progress and using assessment to inform teaching
Working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement
