ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southwark seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team from September. This full-time position offers the opportunity to take on a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons while supporting pupils in preparation for the next stage of their education.

The school is known for its strong leadership, clear behaviour systems and collaborative staff culture, creating an environment where teachers can focus on delivering high-quality teaching and achieving strong pupil outcomes.

This KS2 Teacher role in Southwark would suit experienced Primary Teachers or confident ECTs looking to further develop their teaching practice within Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities of KS2 Teacher:

Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to KS2 pupils.

Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and engagement.

Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.

Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).

Be a confident ECT or experienced teacher within Key Stage 2.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and engagement.

Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and families.
