A welcoming and highly regarded Primary School in Barnet is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join them for two days per week. This long-term role starts immediately and offers the chance to work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, making it ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety and getting to know different age groups.

This is a school where staff are friendly, supportive and keen to help you settle in quickly. From day one, you’ll be encouraged to bring your energy, ideas and personality into the classroom. While planning is provided, you’ll have the freedom to add your own creative flair and make lessons your own. As the term progresses, there may also be opportunities to increase your working days if you’re looking for more consistency.

Conveniently located within walking distance of public transport and with on-site parking available, the school is easy to reach whether you drive or commute.

The role will involve:

Teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2 for two days per week
Working closely with support staff and understanding individual education plans for pupils with additional needs
Delivering engaging lessons using pre-prepared planning, while adding your own personal touch
Monitoring pupil progress and sharing clear, constructive feedback with class teachers and senior leaders
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds relevant teaching qualifications
Brings strong behaviour management skills and a calm, positive presence in the classroom
Has experience across a range of year groups and enjoys being flexible
Has proven Primary School teaching experience
Communicates clearly and stays organised in a busy school environment
Has a genuine passion for creative, engaging teaching
Works well as part of a collaborative team
