Primary Teacher (Full-time Temporary) Location: DE23, Derby Start Date: 05/01/2026 Salary: £150–£220 per day

Education Personnel is supporting a primary school in the DE23 area of Derby to recruit a Primary Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher to join a school that has been rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted, reflecting strong teaching, leadership and pupil development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, following national curriculum expectations • Build a classroom environment that supports curiosity and engagement • Use assessment to track progress and adapt teaching • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning • Work with support staff to provide consistent provision • Take part in wider school activities, events and initiatives

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience working in KS1 or KS2 • Good knowledge of the primary curriculum • Confident classroom management and clear communication • Ability to support learners with a range of needs • Willingness to contribute to the wider school community
