Primary Teacher - Year 3/4 (Maternity Cover) Newcastle-under-Lyme | Start February | Up to 12 Months Academics are working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are seeking a caring and committed Primary Teacher to cover thier Yr3/4 class on a maternity cover basis. This role will begin in February and is expected to continue for up to 12 months. You will take responsibility for a large, mixed Year 3/4 class, working alongside a supportive staff team who are passionate about providing a nurturing, positive learning environment where every child can thrive. About the Role Teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class with full classroom responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons across Key Stage 2 Establishing a calm, positive classroom with clear expectations and strong routines Supporting pupils' academic progress as well as their confidence and wellbeing Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and school leaders We Are Looking For Someone Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 Demonstrates strong, consistent behaviour management Is kind, patient and enthusiastic about teaching and learning Builds positive relationships with children, staff and families
