As a Primary Teacher, you will take full responsibility for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire pupils and support their academic and personal development. You’ll be working within a collaborative school environment where creativity, commitment, and care for children are at the heart of everything you do.Key Responsibilities
* Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum.
* Assessment: Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
* Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can succeed.
* Inclusion: Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring equal access to learning opportunities.
* Safeguarding: Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing at all times.
* Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil outcomes.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent).
* Experience teaching within a primary school setting (ECTs are welcome to apply).
* Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* A positive, proactive, and passionate approach to teaching.
* Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
