Primary Teacher (EYFS, KS1 & KS2) – ECT Friendly | Leeds

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable, paid classroom experience across EYFS, KS1, or KS2? Milk Education is working closely with supportive primary schools across Leeds who are keen to welcome enthusiastic teachers into their classrooms.
Whether your specialism is Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, we have opportunities to match your strengths and help you build confidence in a supportive school environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching practice and gain hands-on experience — with some schools offering placements that can contribute towards your ECT induction, where appropriate.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:00
Start Date: Flexible start dates available
Contract: Week-by-week initially, with opportunities for long-term and permanent roles
No previous teaching experience is required — just passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (planning support available)
- Teach and support pupils through the National Curriculum / EYFS Framework
- Mark work and set appropriate home learning tasks
- Support pupils with SEN using positive behaviour strategies
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Who Can Apply?
- ECTs / Newly Qualified Teachers – no experience required
- Teachers with specialisms in EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
- A positive, proactive attitude and passion for teaching
- Strong communication and classroom management skills (support provided)
