Use your experience in software pre-sales consultancy in this pre-sales Solutions Consultant role for a successful international software company. . The solutions include complex alarm monitoring and security software. Already established with customers worldwide, and having gained investment, they are now embarking on a significant growth plan in the UK and EMEA. Expertise in security monitoring, alarm management or critical event management is ideal, or transferable expertise in workforce management software (WFM), ERP, HR or Facilities Management solutions is particularly welcome, but all software solutions consultancy experience is considered. Training in the product and domain will be provided. Strong customer facing skills, expertise in discovery and scoping sessions and ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to demonstrate the value of the solution to the client organisation. Around £55k to £70k pa, plus bonus and benefits. Manchester office base, travel required and some work from home. In this role you will: work in collaboration with sales people and partners to develop sales opportunities with prospects and clients act as the primary product functionality and technical expert during pre sales cycles, demonstrating the capability of the solution carry out discovery and scoping sessions to understand the business drivers, operational needs and functionality requirements of prospective clients architect, create and deliver tailored demonstrations to clearly communicate the value of the solution to the client assist sales team in providing RFP, RFI, tender responses and bids produce marketing tools such as case studies, implementation guides and re usable presentations other varied responsibilities related to owning the solutions consultancy role and product demonstration environments. You must have: strong customer facing communication skills substantial experience in a solutions consulting or pre sales role related to Software platforms or Saas solutions strong commercial awareness with ability to align software functionality and solutions to customer value and business outcomes expertise in discovery and scoping sessions and strong analytical skills related ability to use this to create and deliver compelling tailored demonstrations and presentations which clearly demonstrate value to clients ability to travel UK wide and sometimes in Europe to meet prospects and clients Ideally you will be familiar with the security domain, alarm monitoring, facilities management, WFM or other complex solutions. The office is based in Manchester where you will spend a day or two a week on average as well as travelling to meetings and some WFH.
