Power Operations Manager | Power Generation Hire £55,000–£65,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits West Midlands | Depot Based

An established power hire business is appointing a Power Operations Manager to take full operational and technical ownership of its West Midlands depot.

The site is substantial and multi functional, housing two businesses alongside a central uptime centre. The infrastructure is built. The requirement now is clear alignment, stronger operational discipline and consistent performance across the operation.

This role exists to bring structure, cohesion and leadership to a strategically important site.

The Role

Full P and L ownership

*

Lead a large team across workshop, engineers and hire desk

*

Oversee diesel generators from 20 kVA to 1250 kVA

*

Quality control before dispatch

*

Drive servicing and 1 to 3 day breakdown performance

*

Direct engagement with key regional customers

Delivery happens every day. Your role is to ensure it happens consistently, profitably and without friction.

What We’re Looking For

Proven depot leadership experience within generator hire or power rental

*

Strong technical and product knowledge across diesel generation

*

Experience managing structured, performance led environments

*

Confidence handling interpersonal complexity across multi team sites

*

Clear P and L exposure and commercial accountability

*

The credibility to raise standards and hold people to them
