Power BI Lead Developer

6-month Contract initially (extendable up to 18 months)

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Manchester) Up to £600 per day inside IR35

Our client is a specialist data and analytics consultancy helping organisations modernise reporting and unlock data-driven insights. They are seeking a Power BI Lead Developer to lead report migration and deliver scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports


• Lead migration from SAP BusinessObjects to Power BI


• Build and manage data models and datasets


• Optimise DAX queries and report performance


• Collaborate with data teams for integration


• Gather requirements and work with stakeholders


• Support testing and mentor junior developers

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in Power BI development


• Strong Power BI, DAX, and data modelling expertise


• Experience with SQL and data transformation


• Azure or Microsoft Fabric experience


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
