Offer Description

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support research on a Leverhulme Research Project awarded to Dr Kim Bouwer, titled: A study of everyday climate litigation: examining law in the climate context. This three-year project aims to understand how everyday legal disputes are fought and resolved in the context of climate change. It seeks to establish a fuller account of the 'field' of litigation in the context of climate change, including cases where litigants focus on their own interests. Because this role is grant funded, it is fixed term for three years, matching the grant duration.

A postdoctoral research assistant with a completed or submitted PhD in climate change law or policy will be recruited at 80%, with remote working available. The position allows time for teaching commitments, family responsibilities, or writing up a PhD or monograph.
