Band 6 High Risk Podiatrist (Locum Role)

Start Date: From 19th January Contract: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 08:15–16:15 – start times negotiable)

Location: Chelmsford Braintree Maldon

This role is based across three sites; therefore, candidates must be a car owner/driver.

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Band 6 High Risk Podiatrist to join a specialist community podiatry service. This role focuses on the assessment and management of high-risk patients, particularly within diabetic foot and complex wound care pathways.

Key Responsibilities The postholder will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of podiatric care for patients with a wide range of complex clinical needs, including:

Diabetes Vascular disease Rheumatological conditions Neurological disorders Wound management Nail surgery

You will be required to assess and treat urgent new patients, demonstrate a strong understanding of diabetic foot pathways, and escalate care appropriately when required.
