Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (Higher could be negotiable)

An Ofsted-rated college in Greater Manchester is seeking a Plumbing & Gas Trainer Assessor to join its Construction department. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a vibrant college community that values innovation, inclusion, and development.

The Role You will support apprentices working towards Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualifications by:

• Delivering high-quality on-site assessments using an e-portfolio system
• Reviewing learner progress and setting SMART targets
• Delivering Functional Skills where required
• Preparing learners for ACS and supporting their progression through environmental pathways
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with employers

What We're Looking For

• A Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
• Industry experience in plumbing, gas, or heating
• Recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, or equivalent)
• Confidence in all aspects of workplace assessment
• Experience with e-portfolios is desirable
• ACS delivery experience and knowledge of environmental pathways is a plus
