What You'll Be Doing
Own and evolve the
platform product strategy and roadmap
for digital experience technologies, with a strong focus on
browser performance, site speed, and user experience . Act as the
product custodian
for shared digital platforms used across web and mobile experiences. Work closely with
engineering teams and principal engineers
to shape architectural direction, including areas such as
micro frontends, integrations, and platform scalability . Collaborate with
product teams aligned to individual retail banners
and
central platform teams aligned to the wider group , ensuring platform capabilities meet diverse business needs. Drive alignment across stakeholders by clearly communicating platform priorities, trade-offs, and long-term vision. Influence and guide decision-making around
web and mobile platforms , including
native applications , browser technologies, and performance optimisation. Ensure platform initiatives consider
security, resilience, and compliance
as first-class concerns. Identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency, reuse, and time-to-market across the organisation. Operate as a connector across teams, helping to unblock progress and push initiatives forward in a complex environment.
About You
Proven experience in a
Platform Product Owner / Platform Product Manager
role within a
large, complex organisation . Strong understanding of
digital platforms , particularly in relation to
web performance, browser experience, and cross-channel delivery . Technically credible and comfortable engaging in discussions around
architecture, integrations, micro frontends, and mobile technologies . Background working closely with
engineering teams , including senior or principal engineers. Excellent communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple brands, teams, and levels of seniority. Highly organised, proactive, and able to drive progress across multiple initiatives without direct line authority. Experience working across
