As a growing business with a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Plastics Supervisor/Setter to join their weekend shift team. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical setting skills with team supervision and production management.

Supervisor/Setter - Weekend Shift Location: Yaxley, Cambridgeshire Salary: £19.24 per hour + £100 weekly shift allowance Hours: Friday to Sunday, 05:45 - 18:00 Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up, adjust, and maintain plastics manufacturing machinery * Lead and supervise the weekend production team * Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimise downtime * Train and support operators on equipment and procedures * Monitor production output to ensure targets and quality standards are met * Carry out quality checks and ensure safety protocols are followed * Support continuous improvement and efficiency efforts

Required Experience:

* Minimum 3 years' experience working in an injection moulding environment * Hands-on experience in machine setting and troubleshooting * At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership in a factory/production setting * Strong understanding of health & safety regulations * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Proactive approach to process improvements * Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
