Plant Manager (Energy from Waste)
Thurrock, Essex
£95,000 + Excellent bonus and benefits package

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a leading organisation in the Energy from Waste sector to appoint a plant manager to lead whilst the site is preparing for full operation.
The Role:
You will be critical in preparing the site for safe, efficient, and sustainable operations ahead of commissioning. Responsibilities include:
* Lead a safety-first culture, ensuring everyone goes home safe everyday
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
* Oversee day to day operations and long-term performance
* Deliver outage plans, reliability improvements and CI initiatives
* Own the site P&L, overseeing budgeting and forecasting
* Lead and develop the site leadership team
About you:
* You will have extensive senior people management experience within a large, technical or operational environment, with a proven track record of leading complex teams.
* You will bring strong financial acumen, including demonstrated experience owning and managing a P&L, and be comfortable implementing and operating within a corporate management system.
* You will also have senior management experience in power or a comparable process-driven environment, along with significant experience managing commercial and operational contracts.
* A degree level qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and a full UK driving license is essential
This position will suit someone who is accountable, performance driven, results focused and can deliver in a high-pressure operational environment whilst building strong relationships and focussing on collaborative success.
