Weve got a really exciting opportunity for a Head of Financial Strategy to join us on a job share basis. In this job, youd work three full days a week from Weds to Friday, playing an extremely important role within our FP&A directorate. The Directorate leads on financial planning, internal management reporting and compliance reporting to our regulators, analysis and modelling. As our joint Head of Financial Strategy, youll have the chance to set the financial direction of UCL into the next decade by developing UCLs next financial strategy. In developing the strategy, youll lead finance engagement with UCLs Philanthropy team to build institutional understanding of how philanthropic income contributes to financial and strategic objectives.
Youll also lead on maintaining the current financial strategy, including identifying risks to delivery and identifying options to address any divergence from the current plan. This is a senior role and as such will pay a full time equivalent salary of up to c. To do this job youll need to be a fully qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience and demonstrable experience in a planning or finance role. Successful experience leading the development of financial strategy in a complex environment, and a track record of financial leadership and managing a team, is also essential.
