Planning Administrator
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent

The Role
As Planning Administrator, you will support the Planning Team with essential administrative duties, ensuring regulated paperwork is issued accurately and on time. You will liaise with utility providers and customers to help ensure the smooth coordination of works from initial call-off through to completion.
This role suits someone organised, proactive, and confident communicating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail

Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records in line with company procedures

Managing customer queries and escalating where appropriate
*
Liaising with utility companies regarding updates, queries and issues
*
Supporting the team to meet departmental KPIs
*
Handling customer and client communications professionally
*
Adhering to health, safety and wellbeing responsibilities
*
Supporting the wider team with additional duties as required

Confident and professional telephone manner
*
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
*
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
*
Comfortable working as part of a team and using initiative
*
Clear, professional communication skills
