Are you an experienced Maintenance Planner looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced industrial environment?
We have an exciting 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity based fully onsite at a leading manufacturing site.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Maintenance Technical Planner, you'll play a crucial role in supporting efficient operations by translating approved work orders into fully scoped and scheduled work packages. You will:
- Develop comprehensive job plans including resource, material, and access requirements
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and assist in permit-to-work processes
- Produce method statements and draft risk assessments
- Manage planning databases and prepare cost estimates and purchase requisitions
- Provide short-term cover for other Technical Planners as needed
- Contribute to the implementation of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) and Quality policies
What We’re Looking For:
We’re after someone who brings a mix of technical skill, planning experience, and a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
Essential:
- HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience in maintenance/project planning and scheduling
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible mindset
- A track record of continuous improvement within your technical discipline
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP experience (desirable, not essential)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:45 – 12:00 (subject to change)
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
